Pharmer will also provide assistance with startup and operator training of the completed facilities. Work typically includes preparation of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, procedural training for operators with specialized equipment, as well as assistance with the one year warranty inspection of the contractor’s work.
Our team has developed an excellent working relationship with the IDEQ
Because of ever-changing environmental regulations relating to the treatment and disposal of domestic and industrial waste, a strong familiarity with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ’s) regulations and the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) is critical for the success of this wastewater facilities planning effort.
Pharmer Engineering staff has extensive experience working with IDEQ and EPA on wastewater projects and are well acquainted with the staff of IDEQ’s regional offices and the staff at the Boise Headquarters.
In addition, our team has developed an excellent working relationship with representatives of the IDEQ with regards to utilizing revolving funds. Additionally, we are experienced and skilled at handling various regulatory subjects including, but not limited to land use concerns and other environmental issues.
